Bus Set Possibly under Development.

For 99.16 and later, please find attached:
-Solaris Trollino 18
-New Flyer D40LF

----------------------------------------------------------
Original Post (attachments since removed):
Greetings fellow Simuplayers.  I'm back to trying to make a bus pack.  Since entering trolleybusses to my game, they have become an invaluable part of my intra-urban network.  But, there is really only one generation of high-capacity trolleybusses available.  So I've decided to rectify the situation.

I don't know what will happen with this mission, but so far I've corrected the "Urbino 18 Trolley" posted elsewhere on this forum (by jwojtinsky and later Breeze646).  The previously-posted pak files will allow the player a vehicle which is either:
-the front of an articulated trolley, with no rear, or
-both the parts, but with the trailer in front

The only problem is that I can't put the source into a pak-file, because I've yet to figure out compiling Makeobj for Intel Mac.  So if somebody else could please package these for me, it would be greatly appreciated - they should just work.  Also, if you can, combine them into one pak-file.

----

Again, I've no idea where this will go, but my first stop will be the D40LF that is lost somewhere on this forum.

Regards!

If you want, I coud make a "cronjob" on my Server for you ...

If you have a place (z.B. ftp) or a spezial Software for the Version (like svn)

But it would be only "daily" versions .. like the nightlys  shh

I work vor a crosscompiling for MAC, but it don't look good  bummer
Sorry about my bad english ;o)

For simutrans "nightlys" look at http://www.wernieman.de/simutrans/index.en.html

Thank you for this offer.  If I ever get more than a few busses into the project, then I may take you up on this.  For now, however, there is only one bus, and it's already working (thank you FrankP!)

Actually for troelly bus, makeobj 48 should do fine too. No need for most recent one.

This offer is not only for you  woot

When I can get the sources and the "owner" say, that is O.K., there is no problem with making a "nightly PAK", like the nightly PK64

On my Intel Mac, I have no working version of makeobj, painfully slow or otherwise.  I am going to experiment with running makeobj with Darwine (like WINE, but for OS X).

I know that there are problem running the latest nightly builds with pak128.  The new maintainer of pak128 (VS) might appreciate this nightly pak-building ability!  Perhaps if you sent a private message on the forum?

--------------

Later…

I've done some testing, and Darwine will run the Windows version of makeobj.  So now, compiled with makeobj48 (compatible with versions 99.16, 99.17.1, and nightly builds from later than 2 December 2007), I offer both a revised Solaris Trollino 18, and a New Flyer D40LF with operating costs.  See the first post in this thread for these.

And this means… wait for it… that I will be, at the very least, collecting and re-aligning some of the pak128 busses.

This is what happens when you mix D60LFs with Snow

Actually that one I posted up was messed up, I later fixed the personal version for myself but thanks for fixing it anyway!

I also made myself a 30 foot version of the bus for the smaller towns with very low operating costs so that it's still profitable and providing transit service for smaller towns. (It's about 0.50/km)
Ontario, Canada

OMG OC TRANSPO IS CANCELING THE 41!!! I TAKE THAT ROUTE!!! ARG!!! Angry
Date of last 41 run: June 22nd
