I though of something so that the Gas Station can take in more goods.

If you cut the Gasoline production of the refinery down, you could fill that up so that it's 100%. (i.e. Change gasoline production from 100% down to 75%, then add 25% diesel production)

Then change the gas station so that it takes in diesel fuel.

This would help because more goods could be delivered to a gas station.

Do I know too much? Possibly

People have a short attention span, now, conditioned I suppose by 60 minute TV shows and 2 hour movies in which everything comes out okay.  The real world is not like that.  It is messy, uncertain, and sometimes bloody and ugly.  Always has been, and probably always will be.

This isn't an extension request for simutrans - it's to do with pak maintainers.

That said, presumably diesel would be transported in the same tankers as petrol - so you could just increase the amount of petrol used by the petrol station to achieve the same effect. However the amount of petrol used at the petrol station is set for a reason - so that there are more petrol stations for each refinery, and so that deliveries are small scale.

Fuel could be used by translators instead of gasoline-- this would include both diesel and petrol/gasoline (and maybe LPG as well)

I'm just starting to clean up the English translation for pak128. This sounds reasonable to me. I'll wait a bit before making the change to see if anyone (especially napik) disagrees.
