The transport in big cities are always make me headache! The amount of passengers are huge. If use buses, it may cause traffic jam, if use tram, it just carry a few, if use underground railway, it can't go up slope. How can let all the passnegers get on cars? y_worship

This is the main point of the game, if the game is so easy which all the passengers just get on the vehicles it will not be fun. A tactic is to tackle these huge passengers with all modes of transport, possibly High Speed Train. You can also stop buses from traffic jams by setting the Traffic Density to 0.

Using appropriate number of vehicles on road & the choice of mode of transport is important to tackle any traffic jams down the line. There was also the highly priced overhead rail... I would suggest a combination of trams & buses... For the stops which generate passengers rapidly, use the bus, and for others use trams. Please remember if you can arrange tram stops of more than one tile, then you can have longer trams.
